Straws...

I forgot... Sophia is drinking out of a straw!!! Bina has not mastered this yet! And Sophia seems to be sad and alone when their schedules are off. Bina loves all the attention for herself! That or, they are so tired b/c we have been so busy she just needs to catch up on her sleep!!!

New stuff

So... new stuff this week.
Sophia for the past two weeks has been through temper tantrums. Bina has now joined her. They are crying in a way that one can tell it is just for attention, it is almost a grumpy moan. Sophia's thumb is sore and might begin to calus because she sucks her thumb during naps and at bed time. I triend putting a bandaid on it and boy did she ever get mad. I will do it during the day when she doesn't normally suck her thumb and remove it for naps and bed time. This way we will give it time to heal and maybe it won't calus.
Also, today we took Tyler out for his special 6th b-day lunch. We talked about what it means to be 6 years old and the responsibilities that come with it. Loving and serving God with all of his heart and becoming a man! He loved all the attention! We went to Red Robin where they sing Happy Birthday with clapping and balloons. He had a blast. He is also very interested in word searches, which was on the menu at Red Robin. He preffered the word search over the archade games. We discussed loving God and how some people don't. He said if bad guy ever took him, who didn't love God, he would tell the bad guy Jesus loves him. My eyes began to fill with tears. We are so proud of little man of God!
Alex is hitting a hard age for both Aaron and I. He is often loud and too rough with sisters. We are working on teaching him to be kind and gentle. Other times he is so protective and loving, and he PROTECTS EVERYONE! When day Aaron was wrestling with Tyler, Alex walks in with his warrior helmet on and says, "Don't you do that to my brother Tyler!" We know God made him this way, BOLD AND READY TO PROTECT! We just need to find a balance with kindness and gentlness!!!
We are thrilled with our family of 6 and know we are in God's will!!!!!

So, there was this one day...

Aaron was feeding Sophia like a loving sweet father. I got it on my camera. Yes, it was sooo funny because he opens his mouth each time he gave her a bite and made such wonderful goo-goo noises. He asked to watched it... laughed and then deleted it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He was too embarrassed!

I was so sad... I said I would get him again and not tell him.

They love to play together. The boys are such wonderful brothers. They had such a blast on the car ride too! I taught Tichu, Pilar and Tyler how to play Alphabet game.

Let's go to the water. We brought the girls close and a big wave came up and got them both totally soaked!!! It was funny, but they were soooo cold! We had to change them and wrap them really fast. After they got their bottles they were happy!

Sophia's step...

Not only can Sofi walk, stick out her tongue on command, crawl backwards, say Papa and wave bye-bye while saying ba-ba...

SHE CAN HOLD HER BREATH AND PASS OUT!

A few days ago she began through temper tantrums where she rollers to her belly and gets really mad!!! She was over tired tonight. She did not want her jammies! As I was getting her dressed (which she did not want to do) she began to throw her temper tantrum, turned her face SUPER RED, held her breath and passed out for 3 secs. I put her on my lap and I yelled her name and smacked her chest to startler her. She woke up and was very clingy to me. I also noticed she was sweaty. After a few more minutes she was back to herself. I then called an advice nurse. After he asked all the right questions he said, "Well, I guess you should not make Sophia mad!" We both had a good laugh! He then said, "all this at 14 months, imgaine her at 14 years!" LIKE I NEED A REMINDER ;)!

I keeping checking on her and she is doing great and sleeping comfortably! They just so happen to have an appointment tomorrow and I will be sure to talk with Dr about this too!

I just edited my last blog entry, because... not only did I write through my children's eyes, but it also sounded like my children wrote it!!! OI!!!

Well, today one of my poll questions were answered! SOPHIA WALKS FIRST!!! She took two steps, followed by a single step later on! I will post the video later on!

Sophia is crawling backwards and sticks out her tongue when asked! Two new things this week!

Through a child's eye!

My blog is going to take a small turn. I will still post pics so family from out of town can be updated, but I also want to write through the eyes of my children. They are saying so many things... they are so special and unique. They will be authors of the blog (glob) from here on out!

In the last few weeks Tyler has been asking so many questions. Alex is listening and learning at the age of 3, earlier than most because of his big brother! They are both very wise young men!

The other day Tyler asked me, "How do babies get in mom's bellies."

I said, "Mommies have eggs and something special happens and it turns into a baby!"

He was satisfied.

Today, the men were eating lunch and the boys asked, "How many Jesus' are there? Because Jesus in your heart and my heart and other people's hearts."

Aaron explained, "Jesus loves everybody so much and he is so big that he can be in everybody's heart at the same time."

Children are so special. I love seeing the world through their eyes!!
