My Girls

I laid each one down to sleep for the night.

Each one of them has put up such a fight.

I was feeling such great success,

looking back at the past four months and all the stress.

Each day was filled with unwanted strife.

But they have overcome the battle for life.

Both of my girls are thriving, despite their rough start.
