I FELL ON FACE OUT OF MY STROLLER TODAY! Dr. called it a nose dive... but there was no water... well there was a few feet away. I hit the concrete! Saw my Dr and she said I am ok... but look for bruising or swelling, in case I broke my nose!
I LOVE JUMPING IN AND I GO UNDER WITH OUT GOGGLES!!!
I love it again!
I didn't get any pics of Bina or Ty... I was preoccupied with Sofi's face plant. We will go again soon... MAYBE TOMORROW!!! The pool was heated to a perfect temp that the boys were in from 1:30-5:30, with a few pee breaks and snack time. They actually peed at the pool out on the grass through the fence. One kids was like... "YUCK"... someone else said... "At least it is not in the pool!" No one else minded from then on!! Bina still had a fever today.... not sure what is going on. Will call Dr tomorrow if it doesn't go down!
THEY LOVE THE NEW ROCKS!!! Like a gravel pit of fun! Yes, those are my tongs! Double check and make sure I
have washed them if you ever come over for dinner! Bina is not feeling too hot. Tummy issues and a low grade!
But she still wanted to play!!! This was Sophia's wake up face the other day! She is proud to announce that her SECIND TOOTH HAS COME IN!!!!! She has beat sister:) She is also standing for up to 5 second on her own!!! So very exciting!! Memorial Day 8 years ago... Aaron and I were engaged! EIGHT YEARS!!!! WOW!!!!
The girls had their one year shot and physicals today! They both weigh 16 12.5 and Sabrina is 1/4 of an inch taller! Sabrina's head size jumped up quite a bit so, they are going to re-measure in 6 weeks. He is not concerned, but is going to cover his bases is all! They both cried so hard with shots that they turned red and got all sweaty!!!
Usually preemies are caught up around 2 years... but he think they will be caught up by 18 months PTL!!! He could tell that Sophia quite a people person and Sabrina proved she loves her Daddy and doesn't like strangers. She has turned into quite a Daddy's-girl. Whenever she sees him she crawl turbo speed with the biggest smile on her face. Sophia loves him to, but favors me!
The boys have been such a joy. The other day Alex wanted to step on a potato bug. I said no, we have to respect animals. He said, "Mommy, just go inside!" with a nod of his head! SOOOO CUTE! Alex was also carrying our twin dolls around the other day, just how I carry the girls. I will have to post a pic when they get up from naps. It makes people nervous... but one has to do what one has to do! Tyler has been acting very 6! He is asking tons of questions and being very responsible. I guess that come with being the first! He is still reading very well and loves to learn about new things. Socrates at its finest. Sometimes I have to ask him to just not talk... :) Can't wait for the girls to hit this age!
I am sitting here chatting with a dear friend I have not yet met. Once you have preemie twins you are automatically a part of a club for life. She has 29 6/7 weeker girls. There is a connection and no words need to be said. Cacey and I have been chatting here and there on Facebook and following each other's blogs. Here is her link to hers.... http://hopeandpeyton.blogspot.com/
HER BABY GIRL HOPE NEEDS OUR PRAYERS!!!
Many of you prayed for Sabrina almost a year ago.. so that she would not need heart surgery and her PDA would close up on its own. Within 48 hours of my posting for prayer, Sabrina's PDA closed. The Drs were shocked it went from being so loud and open to being closed.
It happens... but they were shocked this fast. Let us all pray in agreement for Hope, that the hole in her heart would close!!!! Hers is actually a hole in her heart and would mean a much more serious surgery! We serve a God who is able! Here is a copy of the blog entry when prayers were answered for Sabrina.
She needs to keep gaining weight, her blood pressure has to remain low and she needs to pass a one hour car seat test. The secretary has already called to set up all her follow up visits. This is when it really hit me that my baby is coming home!!! Sophia is doing great and we are praying for a miracle over night for her as well. She is still on some oxygen and could come with oxygen by Saturday as well, but they are giving her a little more time show us what she is capable of. We are expecting her to be home next week if not with Sabrina.
To make sure each of you is updated... Sabrina had a moderate heart murmur, meaning she still had the hole in her heart on Monday. Tuesday... the murmur was gone!!! Her blood pressure was high and now it is where it is suppose to be. OVER NIGHT... God anyone???? On Monday we were thinking she would have to stay another week, but she is coming home!!!!!
I looked into their crib today and almost began to cry. God is amazing in how He created each one of us... but then to think the girls were born 3 MONTHS EARLY!!! And they are doing amazing! Sophia, bless her little heart and lungs :)... almost did not make it. Just the fact that she needed Nitric medicine and she survived is huge, per explanation by nurse Jenni. I don't think I will truly fully understand that Sophia had the difficult time she did the first 24 hours of her life. I am so glad I will have days filled with 4 babies calling for my attention!!! God gave me four for a reason and I will thank Him daily!!! No matter what!
